Mer Otis

Award-winning, self-taught analog collage artist and classically trained psychotherapist, Mer's body of work combines found images, ephemera and archetypal themes of time and memory. Creations are entirely hand cut and assembled on watercolor paper. Overlays of obscure words and means of barter enhance the underlying universal stories and embellished tales. Mysticism, alongside the works of Carl Jung, Leonora Carrington and Nick Bantock influence her visions and their translation to the collage medium.
